SELECTION PROCEDURE :

Objective type Written Test of Two Hour duration with negative marking shall be conducted for both Category-I and Category-II applicants. Each correct answer will carry 1 (one) mark and each wrong answer will carry ½ [half] negative mark. The Written Examination shall include : For CAT-I: Questions pertaining to Psychometric/ Aptitude / General Knowledge/ day-to-day science / discipline of the candidate. For CAT-II (10+2): Questions pertaining to Psychometric/ Aptitude / General Knowledge/ day-to-day science / Physics, Chemistry & Maths of 12 Std. For CAT-II (10+ITI) : Questions pertaining to Psychometric/ Aptitude / General Knowledge/ day-today science / Science & Maths of 10th Std. + ITI. Trade test is applicable to Category-II candidates with Educational Qualification of (10 + ITI). Those candidates qualifying in the Written Examination/Trade Test, if applicable, shall be short-listed for Interview. (Candidates applying for the above posts will be given an option to answer in English/Hindi at the time of Written Exam / Interview).

Scientific Assistant/C – Pay Band of ` 9300-34800 and Grade Pay of ` 4600 (PB-2). CATEGORY II TRAINEE : Technician/B - Pay Band of ` 5200-20200 with Grade Pay of ` 2000 (PB-1). Technician/C - Pay Band of ` 5200-20200 with Grade Pay of ` 2400 (PB-1).
