IBPS finally responded
and decision is that no interview for Ibps Clerk V.
According the
order, there will be no Interviews will be conducted under CWE Clerks-V. 100%
weightage will be given to the score obtained by the candidate in the online
Main Examination of CWE-Clerks-V, instead of weightage ratio of 80: 20 for CWE
Main examination and interview respectively. The order is given below:

the period 15.08.2015 to 21.08.2015 in respect of Common Recruitment Process
for recruitment of Clerks in participating Organizations (CWE – Clerks-V)
wherein para E, it was mentioned that the candidates who would be short listed
in the Main examination for CWE Clerks–V would subsequently be called for
interview to be conducted by the participating organizations and coordinated by
Nodal Banks in each State/Union Territory with the help of IBPS.
It has now been decided
at the appropriate level to discontinue interviews in the recruitment process
for Clerical Cadre. Accordingly NO Interviews will be conducted under CWE
Clerks-V. 100% weightage will be given to the score obtained by the candidate
in the online Main Examination of CWE-Clerks-V, instead of weightage ratio of
80: 20 for CWE Main examination and interview respectively.
A candidate should
qualify in the CWE Clerks-V main examination and be sufficiently high in merit
to be shortlisted for provisional allotment based on the reported vacancies by
the participating organisations. Since the clerical recruitment is State/UT
specific and proficiency in the official language of the State/UT is preferred,
the allottee banks before issuance of offer letter will have the full
discretion to ascertain the candidate’s familiarity with the official language
of the State/UT. Decision of the Bank in this regard shall be binding on the
provisionally allotted candidates.
All other conditions as
released in the detailed advertisement on IBPS website on 26.07.2015and also
published in Employment News dated 15.08.2015 to 21.08.2015 shall remain
unaltered.
