NIMCET is a national level common entrance examination
scheduled by joint committee of NIT’s for admission to MCA programs in numerous
participating NIT’s of India. The interested applicants of MCA programs can
apply for NIMCET 2016. NIMCET is conducted on yearly basis in May month for
admission at numerous NIT’s in their MCA courses commencing from 2016.
Eligibility Criteria for
NIMCET 2016
The
applicants must have scored minimum of 60% or 6.5 CGPA in B.Sc/BCA/B.Sc (IT) or
B.E/B.Tech from a recognized university.
The applicants appearing for
final year of above degree programs are also eligible to apply for NIMCET 2015
(providing they will have to produce proof of studying final year during
admission).
Examination Pattern for NIMCET 2016
The
duration of the examination will be 2 hours. There will be MCQ type questions
in English language only. There will
be 4 options given for every question and the applicants need to choose the
correct one. There will be a penalty of 1/4th marks for every wrong answers.Distribution
of section-wise number of questions is as follows
